The trailer of Vikramasimha 3D the Telugu version of Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming magnum opus Kochadaiiyaan was launched in Heyderabad recently. The event was hosted by team Kochadaiiyaan that included Rajnikanth, His wife Latha Rajinikanth, the couple’s younger daughter and the director of the film Soundarya Rajnikanth Aswhin and others. Many veterans of Telugu cinema industry including D.Ramanaidu, Dasari Narayaa Rao and director S.S.Rajamouli and of course Dr.Mohanbabu, one of the thickest friends of Rajinikanth graced the trailer launch.

Speaking at the functions Rajini said Vikramasimha is a beautiful philosophical drama with right mix of emotions and hoped that Andhra audience will like it. He also said such a film based on Motion capture technology should have been done by his good friend Kamal Haasan since he is not only a great actor but also a fantastic technician. Rajini known for his modest self, added that a person like him who is not so interested in technology got the chance to do a film like Kochadaiiyaan only because of God’s wish.

Kochadiiyaan and its other language versions will be hitting more than 3,500 screens across the globe, on May 9.
