View Nagarjuna's 'MEK' Launched Gallery

Nagarjuna is going to host the show "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu", the Telugu version of the program "Kaun Banega Crorepati". The program will be produced by Big Synergy and will be aired in MAA TV from June.

The program was launched in a grand manner in an event held in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna, Amala, Allu Aravind, MAA TV Chairman Nimmagadda Prasad, Siddhartha Basu, the CMD of Big Synergy, Siddhartha Basu's wife Anitha etc have graced the event.

To introduce and educate the viewers about the show, Nagarjuna was seated on the hot seat and Amala has asked some interesting questions about their personal life. Nagarjuna has answered them in a witty manner and the couple have entertained the viewers and the people at the event.

Nimmagadda Prasad said " It's been 6 years, we have acquired MAA TV and since then, it has been an exciting journey.We have been reinventing constantly and because of the superb efforts of the young and dynamic team, we could be able to reach the top position. Our association with the Chiranjeevi family and the Akkineni Nagarjuna's family have worked wonders in these 6 years. They have put in a lot of efforts in bringing our channel to the top position . We thank everyone who are encouraging us. We are very excited to launch this "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" program and are looking forward for a great journey with Big Synergy. Nagarjuna has been selected by the Big Synergy after considering about 37 to 38 persons. They need a person who is very open and who can reach the common public and thought Nagarjuna is very apt for this. I've been a very big fan of Siddhartha Basu and his quiz programmes from my university days and I am very happy to be associated with him".

Allu Aravind said " It is only because of Prasad's belief in us and our team, we are very successful now. We are now the no.1 Telugu General entertainment channel (GEC) and it is only because of a committed and organized team. I have a feeling that if the film industry is as organized as our board of members, it would have progressed very well. Our film industry is very disorganized and I will try to organize it ".

Siddhartha Basu said " We are happy to bring the first international format program in Telugu to the viewers. We need a very elaborate team to conduct the various stages of the program. We are very excited to work with MAA TV and they have been co-operating very well with us. "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" is not another quiz show that comes in TV. It is a Aam Aadmi game show that will be the life changing one for contestants and game changer in Telugu TV shows. Nagarjuna is the most apt host for this show and he is really amazing. He has done a lot of research and practice for this program. We are very excited to work with him ".

Nagarjuna said " Every person have their dreams and we are starting this program to make them realize theam. I've been thinking of hosting a TV program for a long while, but I choose to host his program out of social responsibility. Everyone, who participates and watches this program will be educated and that it is what we needed. We are looking forward for the start of this program. It is not easy to host a show like this and I've been practising a lot for it. Now the people are able to find anything because of Google. But in 80's and 90's if anyone wants to know about anything, they used to watch Siddhartha Basu's quiz shows. Siddhartha Basu is the father of quiz shows in India and we are happy to be associated with him now".

The team of Nagarjuna, Siddhartha Basu, Nimmagadda Prasad and Allu Aravind have answered and cleared the doubts of the media people during the launch event.
