It seems Gangster is in trouble with the law! The censor board has prepared a show cause notice for the movie as it failed to display its ‘adults only’ certification on movie posters.

The violation came to the notice of the censor board recently and as a consequence has issued a show cause notice to the producers of the movie.

Failing to display the certification on posters is a non bailable offense under section 7 of the Cinematograph act 1952. The cinematograph rules of 1983 mandates that every film advertisement shall indicate their respective certification in them.
