Actress Remya Nambeesan who was last seen in Tamil screen playing the lead heroine role in horror thriller Pizza 2 directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which released in 2012, is back with a few interesting projects.

Remya completed the shoot for Damaal Dumeel directed by Shree. It is touted as black comedy thriller and Remya has said that she has played an elite modern girl opposite Vaibhav in the film. This will be he upcoming release in Tamil.

While her long in the making Rendaavadhu Padam directed by C.S.Amudhan of Tamilpadam fame is pending for release, Remya has grabbed an offer to star opposite Arulnithi in the latter’s next film Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum. The Kullanari Koottam actress is about to play the role of a school teacher in the film that is being directed by Sri Krishna. Remya also has a few other interesting projects in the pipeline.

Apart from acting Remya is also a renowned play-back singer. Her rendering of Fy Fy song in Pandiyanadu in which she did not act had become a super hit. She has sung a sung in Damaal Dumeel, composed by S.Thaman and she will croon a number for Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Orrum that will have music composed by B.R.Rajin.

However Remya says she prefers acting over singing, since she got offers to croon only after becoming popular as an actress.
