Actor Prasanna who has acted in the film CHennaiyil Oru Naal that stressed the importance of Organ donation has gone an extra mail to achieve the objective. He along with his wife actress Sneha have registered for donating their organs with Saga charitable trust and received donor cards for the same in a recent event organized by the trust.

Prasanna has thanked his wife Sneha and Saga Charitable Trust for motivating him to act for this noble cause.

In a similar development Malayalam actress Rima Kalingal who has acted in a Tamil film Yuvan Yuvathi with Bharath has also pledged her organs. The 22 Femal Kottayam actress has said that she was inspired by one Ms.Lekha who donated her kidney to save the life of a poor victim Shafi without receiving a penny while there was an offer to buy her kidney for rupees 15 lakhs. Rima has also announced that she has collected rupees one lakh with her hubby director Ashik Abu and friends to donate it to Lekha as a token of appreciation for her noble deed.

It is to be noted that actor Kamalhassan is the first person in film industry to donate his organs.
