Grand Gala Launch Of CCL-4

The CCL or Celebrity Cricket League had its fourth edition launched in Hyderabad on Friday. Various celebrities from the film fraternity made their presence felt which included all the 8 teams viz., Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Kerala Striker s, Bengal Tigers, Veer Marathi, Karnataka Bulldozers, and Chennai Rhinos.

The event witnessed various celebrities from across 8 Indian languages such as Sonu Sood, Suneil Shetty, Sudeep, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia D’souza, Venkatesh, Huma Qureshi, Boney Kapoor, Dhanush, Shruti Haasan, Manoj Tiwari, Mahesh Majrekar, Mahesh Babu, Pooja Chopra and Charmi. Over and above, the event also witnessed the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with wife Anjali Tendulkar.

When asked to speak more about this collaboration, Tendulkar said "It is an honour to witness this versatility in my friends. I have seen a few matches that have been played. Great to see the passion that stars have for cricket and indeed surprising to see the competition taken to another level."

There seemed to be a perfect blend of entertainment and fun when Usha Uthup called Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar over on the stage and dedicated a song to him from a Telugu movie in which Dhanush had acted.

Vishnuvardhan Induri, the Founder and Managing Director of CCL present at the launch said, "CCL-4 will take entertainment to a different level altogether . It will be more colorful and gripping and will keep the fans engaged."

The Celebrity Cricket League journey has come a long way ever since 2010. There has been a considerate increase in the number of teams and the level of competition has got bigger and tougher.
