'Basanti', a love story with terrorism backdrop by talented director Chaitanya Dantuluri of 'Banam' fame has completed the shooting part and is in the post production phase. The film has Brahmanandam's son Gautham as the hero and debutante babe Alisha Begum as the female lead. Chaitanya is also turning a producer with the film with his banner 'Start Camera Productions'.

Introducing the film, producer director Chaitanya said 'The film has an interesting plot of love in campus with a terrorism backdrop and we are planning to launch the audio in December' Gautham said his character is a student but with a unique set of traits.

Randheer Gatla, Naveena Jackson, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Dr. KSI Anand, Dhan Raj, Mini Kiran, Bhanu Avirneni, Daya etc played the key roles.
