The young actress has now been a part of the Marrakech Film Festival, where 'Ram-Leela' was the opening film of the festival. It is the first Indian film to open at an international festival.
She attended the film with her director, Sanjay Leela Bansali. The tall beauty rubbed shoulders with the likes of US writer-director Martin Scorsese and US actress Patricia Clarkson. B-Town filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had also graced the inauguration ceremony of the festival.
Incidentally, Deepika was really looking forward to being present at the festival and experience the audience reaction to the film first hand.
Deepika has been stepping from success to another. With 'Ram-Leela' (starring Ranveer Singh as hero Ram) crossing 100 crores this is Deepikas fourth successful film in the year.
