Director Gautam Vasudev Menon has good days ahead, after a lot of turmoil in his career recently. Though the director's project 'Dhruva Natchathiram' turned out to be a big disappointment for him, there is hope rising in his horizon now as Gautam is all set to join hands with Simbu for his next project. There are rumours that suggest that this project is a sequel to the romantic classic 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya', to be referred to as VTV 2 for short.

The same buzz also carries that the heroine is likely to be Hansika, though an official announcement on the project is still awaited. Apart from working in 'Vaalu' and 'Vettai Mannan', Simbu who is currently busy with director Pandiraj's project, tweeted his progress on the project, which revealed that major portions are to be covered on November 1st. The tweet also confirmed that there is a lot of good news on the way. So, is it the good news of a VTV 2? We will have to wait to see.
