Stars are known to do charities. Many of the fan clubs of actors indulge in blood donations. Starting from Kamalhassan onwards the fans and the actors themselves come up to donate blood. Recently an SMS came to Kamal who turned up to donate the blood. Similarly Sarath Kumar forwards SMS messages to the fan clubs who take it up immediately. Simbu is the latest to join the donor club. Any SMS to his mobile asking for help is attended immediately by him.
