Vendhar Movies and producer Chandraprakash are planning to 'Thalaivaa' the biggest release in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's career. As preparations for the grand release are underway, the team is also planning to dub the movie in Telugu and release it on the same day in Andhra Pradesh as 'Thalaivaa' in Tamil Nadu. A leading distribution house in Tollywood has almost clinched the dubbing rights for the movie.

Meanwhile, producer Chandraprakash also has future plans of releasing the movie in Bollywood, as a Hindi remake. The cast of the remake will be decided post the release of 'Thalaivaa'. The film has Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Amala Paul and Ragini Nandwani in the lead, and Santhanam and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles, in its star cast. Music scored by GV Prakash are chart toppers ever since its release, a fortnight back. The film is canned by Nirav Shah.
