The 'Naiyyandi' team has completed the talkie portions of the movie. Speaking on the movie and it's first look, the director said "Just as we released the first look 'Naiyyandi', it went viral on social networking websites. We are happy that people like the new pair - Dhanush and Nazriya. We had planned for a 50 day schedule, and we have successfully completed all the talkie portions of the movie. The next 25 days, we will take our brass lamp vendor Chinna Vandu (Dhanush) and the dentistry student Vanaroja (Nazriya) on a world tour, to can the songs of the movie in exotic locations."
