The painful wait has come to a glorious end - the next album of AR Rahman will be hitting our ears this month! The album will be released on the 23rd of April, while two individual singles will be released earlier - one on the 16th and the other, as early as, on the 9th. The movie will hit the screens this summer.

'Mariyaan', starring Dhanush and Parvathi Menon in the lead, and directed by Bharat Bala and produced by Aascar Ravichandran, has its music scored by the Mozart of Madras. This compelling story of survival has National Award winning Appukutty and Salim Kumar to its star cast, apart from other pivotal roles played by Vinayagam, Jagan, Ankur Vikal and Uma Riaz. One of the most renowned European cinematographers, Marc Koninckx of Belgium, of 'Johnny Mad Dog' fame is also a part of the technical crew
