"I am hurt - hurt by the fact that Gautham alleges I am harassing him because I took the legal route." This is what producer Elred had to say while on his tussle with Gautham Menon. The issue took a new turn when GVM sent out an emotional plea to the film fraternity, claiming that he has been harassed by Elred, for money. Elred has taken Gautham to the court, over a hustle of 20 crore rupees. Speaking to Indiaglitz, Elred said "The matter is subjudice. As advised by my lawyer, I cannot reveal any details of the court proceedings. All I can say is that I have never had a verbal argument with him in all the time that we worked together. I was advised not to prevent Gautham Menon from directing, and I have not hindered his work. But how can seeking legal support for relief, be termed harassment? Futher, we are not attaching his house; we are only seeking to attach a property that he bought recently. We have all the evidence for the cases filed."
While some say that Gautham Menon is trying to create sympathy among his colleagues by sending out a written plea, other hold that he has not presented the facts in order. They say that he owes a lot of producers, and Elred grosses the highest of them all. Albeit, to quote Elred, "The truth will come out."
