Vishnu's next is a Rom-Com

Taking time off from his hectic schedule with the Chennai Rhinos that is roaring success at the Celebrity Cricket League, young actor Vishnu briefed up on his career and forthcoming project. "Though 'Neerparavai' won critical and enviable accolades, they did not actually translate into opportunities for me. Currently, I working on comedy for the first time" says Vishnu. He is shooting for director Suresh of 'Etthan' fame, on a rom-com project. The film is yet to be titled; D Imman will score the music. "My character in the film is light hearted and that of a happy-go-lucky person. The film is high on comedy" he added. Speaking on the rumours about his pay pack demands, he says "I turned down a few aspiring directors, for their story line was not convincing enough. But they ended up turning the tables that I demanded high remuneration for the project. For me, money is the last thing in my list of priorities."
The budding actor's wife Rajini is an assistant director to Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi on her maiden directorial venture, and Vishnu is looking forward to work with his wife. "If I can shoot for others, why can I not, for my wife?" says he. Currently hogging the limelight for the highest grosser in CCL, at a cumulative 612 runs, the excited actor says "Cricket has always been my passion since childhood. But I chose a different career path and am working on it. I am realizing my dreams now through CCL."
