For Ameer's 'Aadhi Bhagavan' starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra, the censor board has issued an 'A' certificate. Producer of the movie, Anbazhagan had tweeted "Finally Aadhi Bhagavan censored with A, yet to receive the certificate on Friday. It is an action thriller love story of Mafia wit [sic] entertaiment." The music for this movie has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie is gearing up to release on February 22nd.

When the movie was initially conceived, Ameer shelved his project 'Kannabiran', for this commercial urban romantic and action film. Contrary to his routine, he penned down the story, after having decided who will play the lead role. So, we hold our expectations on a movie that does justice to the actor's demeanour, and also vice-versa.
