Karthi's upcoming film "Alex Pandian" is to be released in the near future. The producer for this film, KE Gnanavelraja, organised a musical night under his banner Studio Green for the 30th of December 2012 in honour of the end of the year celebrations and the films forthcoming release. This concert brought in the crowds at the YMCA Grounds, Royapettah from 6pm yesterday. The music director for the film DSP himself performed on stage last night.

A pleasant addition on the platter was that Karthi's brother, Surya also made an appearance on stage which created more hype to the festive event. Many other big names graced the event too. The music album, which was released on Superstar's birthday, has a few dance numbers in it which helped in creating an enthusiastic crowd. A production house's venture in a musical night has turned out to be a night to remember for it's audience for the first time in Kollywood.
