Varalaxmi made an impressive debut in Kollywood with STR starrer 'Podaa Podi', which hit the screens a couple of months ago.

Now the young actress, who is the daughter of veteran Sararth Kumar, is all set to step in to the neighbouring Tollywood. If sources are to be believed, Varu, as she is called by her close ones, will be the leading lady of Telugu remake of 'Manam Kothi Paravai'.

A leading Telugu actor is expected to play the lead role in the movie, whose shoot is expected to start soon. That apart, Varalakshmi is sharing the screen space with Vishal in 'Madha Gaja Raja'.
