Filmmaker Selvaraghavan has approached a Chennai court, seeking anticipatory bail for him. The director said he fears arrest over a complaint filed against him by producer Chandrasekar.

According to Selvaraghavan, he had received a sum from the producer to direct a film titled 'Kasimedu'. "Since the project did not take off, I returned the money to Chandrasekar," he said.

Selvaraghavan added that but the producer is not ready to leave the issue and has filed a complaint with the police and hence has filed for anticipatory bail.

The director is currently busy giving finishing touches to his magnum opus 'Irandam Ulagam', which has Arya and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.
