Sarathkumar is pinning hopes on 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal', which is being produced by his wife Radhika on behalf of I Pictures. The film is a remake of Malayalam hit 'Traffic'.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai Friday night, Sarath said, "The story takes place in just one day. It involves the lives of four characters that come from different walks of life and are eventually linked for a common cause which is fair and just. Incidents and an accident bring all of them together."

He added: "The entire story revolves amidst the hectic traffic in Chennai which by itself is a character in the movie. The fact that a person’s life is to be saved by reaching the organ from a donor to the respective hospital on time through a bumper to bumper traffic will keep the audience guessing in the edge of their seats in a tightly knit screenplay."

Cheran, Prasanna, Prakash Raj Radhika, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan and others play crucial roles in the movie, which is directed by Shaheed Kader.
