K V Anand not to remake 'Maatraan'

Director K V Anand has dismissed reports appeared in few sections of the media, which claimed that he would remake his forthcoming film 'Maatraan' in Hindi soon.

"There are no such plans. Because, it is very difficult to remake Maattrraan," says the ace filmmaker, who is a noted cinematographer too.

With the film, starring Suriya as conjoined twins, gearing up to hit the screens on October 12, Anand is all thrilled, and at the same time confident. "I am hopeful that the audience will enjoy the movie," he says.

Adds Anand: "We have put tremendous effort to make Maatraan. And the output is very good. Suriya has worked very hard and his performance will be talked about."
