Mugamoodi has graced worldwide screens today and the verdict on the film seems positive. Meanwhile, Mysskin speaks about the biggie to IndiaGlitz.

"This is my childhood dream, probably cause I read a lot of comics I sketched this character. The film will focus on kids but I can assure it will entertain those from 3 years to 80 years old", starts off the director.

"When we wanted to do Mugamoodi we came up with few suggestions as to who can play the lead and approached Jiiva for the role and he gave his consent. However, I requested Jiiva to undergo 6 month training in kung fu but to my shock he told he's been practicing it from 8 years, which became a big boon for us. I wanted Narein to essay the role of the baddie, since I know he'd do justice to it", he says.

Agreeing that Mugamoodi has more scope for the male actors, he says about heroine Pooja Hegde, "She's done a lovely role, an important one as a catalyst in the film but it's a male dominant movie".
