A multistarrer with promising youngsters in the lead is setto go floors. Titled 'Koothu', the film will feature Vimal, Prasanna, Richard (Shalini's brother) and Bharani (of 'Nadodigal' fame) as protagonists.

To be directed by Padmamagan, who made a talked about debut with R Parthiban starrer 'Ammuvagiya Naan', the movie will have 'Veluthu Kattu' girl Arundhathi and Nandhagi of 'Aval Peyar Thamizharasi' fame as the leading ladies.

Says the director, "Koothu is a green journey in my life amid rocks and isolated forests with no human approach. We were in dense jungles to conduct shooting for Koothu. It is an extravaganza of nature's bounty."

Rehhan scores the music for 'Koothu'. The director says the film belongs to action-adventure-comedy genre. Being produced by S Malathy, the movie is expected to hit the screens in October.
