Ganesh Venkatraman has the luck of sharing the screen space with beautiful women of the tinsel town. The 'Unnaipol Oruvan' actor who played Trisha's lover in 'Abhiyum Naanum' and acted alongside Anushka in 'Damarukam', will now romance Shriya.

He has been roped in to play the protagonist in 'Chandra', a Tamil-Kannada bilingual, that sees Shriya Saran in the title role. The film is about a last generation princess and it is said to be an emotional love story.

'Chandra' is directed by Roopa Iyer. According to sources, Ganesh Venkatraman will play a cool NRI, who comes to India from the United States. Kannada actor Prem will be the other protagonist.

Ganesh, who is currently waiting for the release of his Tamil flick 'Panithuli', is said to be excited about bagging 'Chandra'. Because, his role in the movie has given him enough scope to perform.
