Nandita Das, who is making a comeback in Kollywood with 'Neerparavai', is playing a fisherwoman in the movie. Directed by Seenu Ramasamy, the film is being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.

"I was initially hesitant to accept to do the project since my son is too young. But Seenu Ramasamy was not ready to leave me. He kept on asking my consent and I was convinced finally. It is a very good script I must say," the actress says.

She adds: "I am doing the character of a fisherwoman and there are some emotional scenes. Even the director was full of tears while narrating a couple of crucial scenes to me. We are shooting in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu."

With Vishnu of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' fame and Sunaina playing the lead roles, 'Neerparavai' is fast taking shape. "I am eager to act in Tamil movies provided I find time and I get interesting offers," the 'Azhagi' actress says.
