V Ravichandran of Aascar Films, who has acquired the theatrical rights of Ajith's 'Billa 2', has denied a media report which claimed that Sun Pictures former chief Hansraj Saxena was behind the 'Billa 2' deal.
"It is only with my money I purchased Billa 2 rights. No one has backed me in this. In fact, in my career spanning three decades, I never had any partners or any political support," the ace producer said.
Ravichandran also denied that Saxena recently joined Aascar Films as its Chief Executive Officer, and quit soon. "There is not an iota of truth in this claim. It's a baseless rumour. I wonder from where such things crop up," he added.
The producer reiterated that he was making big plans to release the movie. "Being part of Billa franchise gives me happiness. We are planning to start the promotional activities very soon," Ravichandran said.
