Finally films that were initially slated for a summer release are showing some progress. Remember Tamil films’ shoot came to a halt due a tussle between TFPC - FEFSI? Karthi starrer ‘Saguni’ will now see its music release on May 11.

The political drama is helmed by newbie Shankar Dayal and features Karthi and Pranitha in lead roles. GV Prakash has composed the music. The film has a number of veterans in pivotal roles.

Apart from a delay in shoot due to the tussle and strike from workers the film also saw a major delay as most of the scenes were re-shot due to a change in villain.

This movie will bring back to big screen the super hit pair of Karthi and Santhanam who had the audience in splits in ‘Siruthai’.

Music album composed by GV Prakash is touted to have five numbers. We’ll get back to you shortly with more details on the audio launch.
