Wondering what we’re referring to? Director Selvaraghavan and Gitanjali were blessed with their lil’ princess in January this year and the duo have named their tot as Lilavathi in a naming ceremony that was held yesterday (March 15) morning.

The event was a private affair in the presence of family and friends. Later, Gitanjali wrote on her microblogging page, “Introducing Lilavathi Selvaraghavan… Blessed! Thank you @ Selvaraghavan”.

Selva expressed that the duo are fond of traditional names and thus they opted for Lilavathi that means beautiful in Sanskrit. Selva will be leaving to Goa for the second schedule of ‘Irandam Ulagam’ with his wife and Lilavathi and it doesn’t really come as a surprise considering the director’s fondness for his family.

The film will have its third schedule in mid May when the team will leave to the US. It’s said to be a time travel film with Arya and Anushka Shetty in dual roles.

Recently the Bachchan’s named their little daughter, who was until recently referred to as Beti B by the media, as Aaradhya, another Sanskrit name.
