Tamil cinema can't forget 'Haridas', an MK Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar starrer 1944 movie, which ran for more than three years. The title of the legendary film has inspired filmmaker GNR Kumaravelan, who has named his forthcoming flick as 'Haridas'.

Kishore of 'Aadukalam' fame and Sneha will be the lead actors of the film, which will also have a young boy in a pivotal role. "The movie is about an eight-year-old boy's view on life and his father," sources say.

Kishore and Sneha will play the parents of the child. The movie will have music by Vijay Antony, an inevitable member of Kumaravelan's team. Cinematography will be by Rathnavelu and editing by Raja Mohammad.

Kumaravelan, who is popular for movies like 'Ninaithaley Inikkum' and 'Yuvan Yuvathi', is expected to start the shooting of 'Haridas' soon. "It will be an emotional entertainer with many feel-good ingredients," add sources.
