Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone was in Chennai for the last couple of days to do some preliminary works for 'Kochadaiyaan', in which she would share the screen space for the first time with Superstar Rajinikanth.

"Since Kochadaiyaan is India's first film to be made using complete performance capturing technology, Deepika was scanned in Chennai on Monday. This was to bring her body language and expressions so clear and authentic on screen," sources say.

"Deepika co-operated with director Soundarya R Ashwin and other technicians a lot. In fact, she was so happy to see her name along with that of Rajini's in the latest print advertisements of Kochadaiyaan. She considered it as a great honour," sources say.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that dance master Sivasankar is planning to direct a song sequence on Rajini, in which the Superstar will dance like Lord Siva for three minutes. "The song will be shot in the first week of March," sources say.
