Varalakshmi signs a bilingual

With her maiden acting venture in Kollywood 'Podaa Podi' opposite STR yet to hit the screens, Varalakshmi, daughter of Sarath Kumar, has decided to try her hands at a different project. She has signed a bilingual film, which has Naga Chaitanya in the lead.

According to sources, the movie titled 'Gauravam' will be helmed simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil by Radha Mohan. Yes, the man behind some of the memorable films like 'Mozhi', 'Abhiyum Naanum' and 'Payanam'.

"It was during the shoot of Payanam its protagonist Nagarjuna was mightily impressed with the skills of Radha Mohan. Hence he wanted the filmmaker to direct his son Naga Chaitanya's next venture, which is materializing now," say sources.

Circles close to Varalakshmi say she is happy with her role in 'Gauravam', which has offered her an interesting character. "With this film, she will impress the audience in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in one go," they say further.
