There are no new releases this week, as the box-office is busy with collections triggered by 'Nanban' and 'Vettai' storm. Both the films are running to packed houses and the trend is expected to continue at least till the end of this week.

With Nanban being claimed by its makers as 'Terra Hit', a newly coined phrase in Kollywood which is usually dominated by words like 'Bumper Hit', 'Super Hit' and 'Blockbuster'; 'Vettai', according to its producers, is 'Vasool Vettai'.

While the former is directed by Shankar and produced by Gemini Film Circuit with Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva playing the protagonists, the latter has Arya and Madhavan in lead roles. It's helmed by Lingusamy and produced by Thirrupathi Brothers in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
