There is only one release. But still, this week it's a real big Friday, for Vikram's mega-budget entertainer 'Rajapattai' has hit the screens at a grand scale.

The Chiyaan is back to the commercial territory with this film directed by Suseenthiran. "Rajapattai will be racy from scene one, on the lines of Dhil, Dhool and Saami," the actor says.

Produced by Prasad V Potluri under the PVP Cinema banner, 'Rajapattai' has Deeksha Seth as heroine, with legendary Tollywood filmmaker Vishwanath playing a crucial role.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. One of the highlights of the movie is a special song composed by Yuvan, which has Vikram shaking legs with sirens Shriya Saran and Reemma Sen. Another special number is a song with Saloni where he will be seen in more than ten villain get-ups including a pirate and a forest brigand.

"When I was keen to do a commercial entertainer, Suseenthiran came to me with a storyline. Initially I was little wondering, as he is known for off-beat movies. But he impressed with the script. And the admiration grew manifold on the sets. He has shaped up Rajapattai in a very interesting manner," certifies Vikram.
