Kamal Haasan has expressed his desire to watch his good friend Rajinikanth performing on the sets of 'Kochadaiyaan'. The former said this to the latter during a telephonic conversation, thanks to lyricist Vairamuthu.

When Vairamuthu went to meet Kamal at his office to discuss penning lyrics for a song in 'Viswaroopam', the lyricist got a call from Rajini. When the Superstar was told by Vairamuthu that he was in front of Kamal and vice versa, the good friends wasted no time to catch each other's voice.

"Both exchanged pleasantries and were talking for some time. It was then Kamal expressed his wish to watch Rajini shaking legs on Kochadaiyaan sets. The Superstar welcomed Kamal to the shooting spot anytime as he wished," Vairamuthu said.

To be directed by Soundarya Ashwin, 'Kochadaiyaan' will hit the floors January. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, impressed by Vairamuthu's lines for 'Viswaroopam', has gifted him a lavish pen, used by diplomats while signing important pacts.
