Silambarasan aka STR's 'Osthi' is gearing up to see a big worldwide release on December 8 that also marks the 100th day of Thala Ajith's 'Mankatha'. Meanwhile the Tamilnadu Film Exhibitor's Association (TFEA) has issued a red card to this film!

Weeks back IG had reported that TFEA had announced that it has boycotted Sun Network due to a sum they owe theatre owners, of more than 2 crore rupees. TFEA had also announced that they will ban films whose rights are bagged by the Sun Network.

The makers of 'Osthi' had sold their satellite rights to Sun TV which has now brought about this hurdle. Now Reliance Entertainment who are marketing the film have expressed that they will wait till tomorrow (December 2) and if Sun Network doesn't pay back the due amount and settle their issue with TFEA, the makers will release the film with the support of TFEA.

'Osthi' is the remake of Bollywood super hit 'Dabangg' and boasts off many USPs and is a guaranteed family mass masala entertainer.
