Shaji Kailash and RK, the 'Ellam Avan Seyal' duo, announced sometime back that they would come together for a film titled 'Kadamai Kannaiyam Kattupadu'. Now there is a change in the title of the flick, which is a remake of Nana Patekar's critically acclaimed Hindi movie 'Ab Thak Chappan'.

"The movie has now been rechristened as Eepeeko, the Tamil usage for IPC (Indian Penal Code). Since the director felt that this title would suit the script best than the earlier one, he has renamed the project. RK too is happy about the development," say sources.

Vivek plays a key role and Rajiv Krishna, the hero of 'Aaha', will be doing a negative role. 'Pokkiri' fame V Prabhakar is in-charge for the scripting and dialogues. Radharavi, Yuvarani and Singampuli among others form part of the cast of 'Eepeeko'.

Srikanth Deva will be scoring the music. The movie is being shot in Chennai, Pondichery, Goa and few portions abroad. RK, an entrepreneur turned actor, became popular with films like 'Ellam Avan Seyal' and 'Azhagarmalai'. He played a negative role in Bala's ‘Avan Ivan’ and his last venture was P Vasu's 'Pulivesham'.
