Director SP Jananathan has appealed to the captains of film industry to find a solution to the strike call, following the fall out of talks between producers and workers over the increase of wages.

Speaking at the audio launch of 'Nandha Nandhitha' in Chennai Wednesday night, Jananathan said, "It is saddening to know that a strike call has been given. A solution should be found before it affects the industry's activities."

"Producers have their own concerns while workers have their side of story to tell. Veterans of the industry should sit together, hold talks, and find an amicable and acceptable solution to the issue," said the director of 'Iyarkai', 'E' and 'Peranmai'.

Veteran producer Panchu Arunachalam, producer-director KR and Nasser also spoke. Panchu in his address said that technology has changed the way films were made and received. "Youngsters should make use of it," he added.
