It looks like Selvaraghavan's movie in the making 'Mayakkam Enna' will be released much ahead of the stipulated date that was initially revealed by the director.

It was just sometime back that Selvaraghavan had revealed that this film would join the big lineup for a Diwali release, but now the director is believed to have had a meeting with Gemini Film Circuit last weekend, and that is when they decided to pre-pone the film.

This move by director Selvaraghavan has taken many in the industry by surprise, because of many of his films lagging behind schedule due to various reasons in the past. But it looks like the 'Mayakkam Enna' team is putting in a lot of extra effort to complete the film on time for Vijayadashami holidays.

Sources close to the film have added that most of the shooting is complete with just a few touchups here and there for perfection as well as a portion of song remaining to be shot. 'Mayakkam Enna' sees Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles.

The music for this flick is by GV Prakash Kumar, and the music album of this film will hit stores in just a week's time, reveal sources in the know.
