Happy about the way songs from his recent venture 'Puli Vesham' have been received, music composer Srikanth Deva attributes it to the 'style' he had worked with the film's director, P Vasu.

"Quite contrary to today's trend, I personally sat with Vasu sir in the recording studio and composed tunes for Puli Vesham in his presence. This is how music composer and directors used to work in the earlier days," he says.

"Only because of this I was able to give some beautiful songs through Puli Vesham. I believe this is the best way to compose songs, though technology has changed the way songs are composed for movies," he says.

Accepting that he is not working in more number of films these days, the son of veteran music composer Deva says, "Because I would like to concentrate more and to come out with quality music. Quantity is secondary to me."
