Arjun's long pending film 'Masi', directed by 'cop stories' specialist G Kicha, is ready to see the light of the day. It has been confirmed that the movie would release on the last Friday of this month, that is to say, August 26.

Arjun, known as 'Action King' in Kollywood, is popular for his police officer roles and 'Masi' is one more addition to the list. Kicha too is a name to reckon with in such films, thanks to 'Thee' and 'Bhavani'.

Dhina has composed music for this film, produced by KS Kovai Mani. "Masi is a power-packed action movie which speaks about the guts and intelligence of an honest police officer," informs the director, who is optimistic about the prospects of 'Masi' in the box-office.

"The film will be so fresh and there are so many twists and turns in the screenplay which would make the audience to glue to their seats. On the whole, Masi is a movie for the masses," Kicha adds with all hope.
