A retired bank official on Monday approached the Chennai Suburban Police Commissionerate, seeking action against Vadivelu, for allegedly grabbing his property near Tambaram with the help of 'fake documents'.

In his complaint to Chennai Suburban Police Commissoner Rajesh Das, former Assistant General Manager of a nationalized bank Pazhaniappan said that he bought a land in Irumbuliyur through auction in 2006.

"However, in 2009, the land was sold to Vadivelu through Singamuthu by using forged documents. A compound wall was also constructed on my land. When I questioned, I was threatened with dire consequences", he said.

Stating that he had filed a police complaint at that time itself, Pazhaniappan however added that there was no action on it. He sought action against seven persons, including Vadivelu. The complaint has been forwarded to Central Crime Branch.
