With Thala Ajith's 'Mankatha' gearing up for an audio launch that will be held shortly and the movie releasing this August, work on his next venture, Chakri Toleti's 'Billa 2' is moving at a fast pace.

We all know that popular model Huma Qureshi will play David a.k.a Billa's love interest in this film. Playing the second female lead is another popular model, Bruna Abdullah who is popular for the 'sex-siren' in her; she has already done an item number for a Hindi film, 'Cash'.

As IG had earlier reported, the director had gone to Hyderabad for location hunt, now the grapevine has it that the film will see principal photography, that is to say, 'Billa 2' will start rolling on July 14 at Hyderabad!

The shoot is scheduled to take place from July 14 to November and the film is slated for a release sometime between February and April 2012, and the makers add that this might probably hit the screens in April as a Tamil New Year special; however, nothing has been confirmed yet.

The shots will be canned in interesting and never-ventured-before locales at Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Goa, Thailand and even Eastern Europe.

Thala Ajith plays David of his mid - twenties, and the movie is a prequel to blockbuster 'Billa'. The film shows how David, a commoner, went onto to become one of the most dreaded dons in the world.

While Chakri Toleti wields the megaphone, Yuvan Shankar Raja is setting in the tunes, Selva is the Art Director and RD Rajashekar is the Cinematographer.
