Overwhelmed with the response that has been raining on him since the release of his 'Avan Ivan', Vishal has come out with a message to express his gratitude to the press.

The actor, in the note, thanked the print, visual, air and new media for giving his latest film the weightage it needed. The Bala film that portrays Vishal as Walter Vanangamudi in a role as Arya's brother with the tell-tale squint has won the actor much critical appreciation.

With his portrayal in 'Avan Ivan' the acting prowess of Vishal has gone up by many bounds. He also thanks the journos for their love and appreciation of his films. The actor who is at the moment shooting for a Prabhu Deva project titled 'Prabhakaran' will be seen opposite Sameera Reddy in this project.

After the completion of his current film Vishal has promised a treat to his fans by having personal rendezvous with the press.
