There are big expectations for this Vikram and director Vijay combo, ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ is said to be a little offbeat when compared to the films released so far featuring Vikram in the lead. The film is a mentally-challenged man’s battle against his wife and child who have disowned him. With Vikram, Anushka and Amala Paul featuring in important roles the film is touted to be an emotional roller coaster. The film also sees Nasser and M.S. Bhaskar in supporting roles.

Believed to hit theatres across the state in just less than a couple of weeks the film will be distributed by UTV Motion Pictures who have stayed with this film right from the word go. UTV seems to be having big plans down south what with them lining up a lot of films in their pipeline for production, marketing and distribution.

The music of the film which has been composed by G.V. Prakash has done a good round with the music lovers post the launch which took place quite sometime back. He sure seems to have tried something different and unique with the background score of this film.

This Vikram starrer will be released in more than 260 theatres across the state with the marketing and distribution being catered to directly by UTV. The film will also be released in more than 30 theatres in North India.
