Thala Ajith starrer 'Mankatha' is already much-awaited due to reasons many. This action thriller is directed by Venkat Prabhu and features Ajith, Arjun, Trisha Krishnan, Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles and has Vaibhav Reddy, Andrea Jeremiah, Premji playing pivotal roles.

The film is touted to deal with gambling by mafia gangs during the Indian premier League.

'Mankatha' is produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, and it now looks like this film that was supposed to complete shoot in May has seen a delay in the shoot schedule.

The shooting is extended by one more week's shoot @ Bangkok.

The producer of the film, Dhayanidhi Alagiri wrote to his tweet pals, saying, "The Mankatha team is getting ready to travel to Bangkok for another week's shoot. With that shoot ends, only post production left..."

Meanwhile, he also expressed that as the director, Venkat Prabhu, had earlier mentioned, the audio launch will take place in the month of July. The tunes are set in by Yuvan Shankar Raja and a single track that is already out, 'Vilayadu Mankatha...' has already received a chartbuster status.

The other songs are being recorded and the shoot is going on at a brisk pace. The movie is said to see an Independence Day (August 15) release...
