Sasikumar is no inferior to anyone when it comes to giving opportunities to young talents. The producer-actor-director is at it once again, as he has decided to produce a film to be directed by his own assistant.

"His name is Prabhu and he is well talented. He has come out with a stunning script and I have decided to produce it on my own," says Sasikumar, who is shooting in a different get-up for 'Poraali', directed by Samuthirakani.

"The new project will go on floors soon. The theme will be different and am hopeful that the end-product will strike the right chord," Sasi says and adds: "When I look back, I am happy with the way I have walked."

On 'Poraali', he says, "It is about a man who fights for the society where he lives. Set in rural background, my good friend Samuthirakani's script is the main hero of the film. And I am happy to be part of it."
