As 'Avan Ivan' hit the screens today, simultaneously in Tamil Nadu and in Andhra Pradesh as 'Vaadu Veedu,' one cannot fail to notice the grand opening the movie has received all over.

Celebrities are all praise for Vishal's performance in networking sites and are even going to vouch that the star would bag a National Award the following year for his performance in this movie.

'Avan Ivan' sees Vishal and Arya as two brothers who are involved in petty thefts, and Vishal who plays a character named Walter Vanangamudi plays a squint-eyed man, and this is the first time ever an actor in World cinema, has done a full-fledged movie as a squint-eyed, this is usually not done, as it can be harmful to one's eyesight and health in the long run.

During the first day of the shoot, Bala had confessed that he is not happy with Vishal's look and wanted something more, but didn't know what. He then took the actor aside and asked him to try out a squint, seeing this, Bala was overwhelmed with joy and finalized on the look. Although doctors had advised Vishal not to go ahead with the look, he took up the risk for the movie and the character.

The climax of the film will make one appreciate this look more than ever.

Whether Vishal bags a National Award or not, we can't be sure, but stars in the film industry, critics and movie buffs are all praise for Walter Vanangamudi today and are proud of Vishal.
