This week it’s a big Friday for those who love quality entertainment with a difference, for Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’, which has Arya and Vishal in lead roles, is hitting the screens with much expectation.

There are many factors which would draw viewers to cinema halls to watch ‘Avan Ivan’, with the first and foremost being a claim that this is the first ‘comedy film’ by Bala, who is hitherto known for serious movies.

Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram on AGS Entertainment banner, ‘Avan Ivan’, which has Madhushalini and Janani Iyer as heroines, has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. “He has come out with stunning background music,” sources say.

Impressed watching the movie, Censor officials reportedly heaped laurels on Bala for taking such a theme so beautifully and also appreciated Vishal and Arya for their performance. They handed over U/A certificate for the film.

Vishal plays a youth with a squint-eye. He says, “It is a tough job and thanks to Bala's encouragement and the support of my co-stars, I pulled it off”.

Echoining the same, Arya says, “It’s my second with Bala (after ‘Naan Kadavul’). It is difficult to convince him and Bala would not stop untill he gets the best from us”.
