Looks like there is not much fiesta this Friday, as the audience are not left with no choice, thanks to the release of only one Tamil film- ‘Aanmai Thavarel’.

But this solo release promises a lot, as promotions and reviews recommend a gripping action thriller with a message for the society.

Directed by Kuzhandhai Velappan and produced by Kamal Nayan, the movie carries a strong message that speaks about kidnapping of women and pushing them in flesh trade.

Young actor Dhruv is making his debut with this film. “Though I have graduated as an engineer, passion towards cinema brought me to Kollywood. Thanks to my director's guidance, I pulled it off. Shooting for the movie was great learning experience. We shot in difficult terrain,” he says.

Expressing confidence, director Kuzhandhai Velappan says, “We did intense rehearsals that helped us a lot. Aanmai Thavarel is my entry ticket to Tamil cinema. I am confident that it would help me establish and play a long innings here.”
