His second film ‘Udhayan’ was easy for Arulnidhi than his maiden venture ‘Vamsam’. Not because he has gained some experience, but due to the ‘Chennai boy’ role he has played in the soon-to-be-released movie.

“Since I was born and brought up in Chennai, I found it easy to do ‘Udhayan’. Whereas in ‘Vamsam’, I had to change myself totally- from body language to dialogue delivery to costumes,” he says.

Directed by Chaplin, ‘Udhayan’ has Kannada girl Praneetha as heroine. “She is a quick learner and mastered spoken Tamil in just 10 days,” says Arulnidhi, adding: “It was a great experience shooting for the movie.”

Now that he has completed shooting for ‘Udhayan’, the actor is currently busy with ‘Mounaguru’. Directed by Sharath, the film will have music by Thaman. “It is a unique storyline,” Arulnidhi says.
